Manchester City Council were embarking upon an ambitious and challenging improvement programme. Key to its success was the development of a strong leadership population capable of delivering Transformational Change within the organisation.
We developed a Leadership Development Programme which was designed as the learning and the means of achieving their required change; this included workshops, experiential activities and real life projects.
The focus of the learning was upon Emotional Intelligence, Resilience, and increased competence in effectively applying a mix of NLP techniques and highly pragmatic tools in a leadership context. This provided the leadership population with a shared methodology and language for leading change with a stronger emphasis on the underlying beliefs, behaviours and abilities required to achieve and maintain a "Team Manchester" ethos during the improvement programme.
